Human Powered Vehicle SPEED Team
Cheap people-powered transportation could be a game-changer in remote, developing regions.
Go wheel-to-wheel with 50 other schools in this annual competition sponsored by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Into e-bikes? This is your team, as AMSE has added electrical assist to the eHPV Challenge.
The Human Powered Vehicle Competition Team is a part of our SPEED program (Student Projects for Engineering Experience and Design). SPEED is a 100% student-run and managed team that consists of 15-20 students from engineering programs and other majors across the university, working together to solve a specific hands-on challenge.
