Leadership and Achievement Award Nominations

Applying to Clarkson
As can-do as your students can be, they still have questions. And we have the resources to help you with common inquiries that arise during the application process.
Completing an Application
Understand which application your students need to fill out (the Clarkson Application or the Common Application). Additionally, work with them during advising appointments to create a checklist based on relevant admission requirements and documentation.
Testing Policies
Clarkson is a test-optional school. However, we do evaluate official and unofficial SAT/ACT scores submitted with a student’s application and require international candidates to provide evidence of English proficiency. Learn more about submitting scores.
Submitting Documents
As a high school guidance counselor, prepare to write and submit recommendations on behalf of your students, request additional recommendations from teachers and send final high school transcripts. Understand your involvement throughout the application process, plus where and how to provide this information.
AP and IB Scores
