Then sign up to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Certified First Responder (CFR). You can refresh your EMT skills, too, through one of our courses.

Original cost: $1050.00 (includes text, online materials, Uniform shirts and a vital signs kit)

Certified EMS agencies can submit for NYS reimbursement upon the student’s successful receipt of NYS EMS Certification.

Anyone interested after the application deadline but before the start of classes should email Doug Wildermuth at dwilderm@clarkson.edu and if there are openings still available - we may be able to get you into class.

Emergency medical Technicians (EMTs) can re-certify themselves by attending Continuing Medical Education Sessions (CMEs). They are conducted 8 months of the year and more information can be found here.
