Biography
Kris Ross is a communications pro who is passionate about connecting people through affinity. A member of Clarkson's marketing team since 2019, Kris has extensive experience in higher education and K-12 marketing communications.
Kris specializes in transforming complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives accented by impactful graphic design. Balancing creative vision with operational precision, Kris ensures every detail meets the highest quality standards. From formulating strategies, managing multifaceted projects, crafting engaging content, and designing polished publications, Kris thrives on taking ideas from concept to completion.
Kris is also the managing editor of Clarkson magazine. Driven by curiosity and creativity, she takes much pride in sharing the incredible student, faculty and alumni stories that resonate with Clarkson audiences and elevate the University.
Kris is based in New York's Capital Region, where she volunteers with the Niskayuna Girls Softball League, serving as Vice President, Social Media Coordinator, and Fundraising Coordinator.
