Biography
Dr. Shafique Ahmad Chaudhry is an Associate Professor of Operations and Information Systems at Clarkson University, with a courtesy affiliated with the Department of Computer Science. He specializes in applied machine learning, data analytics, IoT-enabled sensing, intelligent monitoring systems, and user behavior in virtual reality.
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science (Electrical Engineering) from Ajou University, South Korea, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at MISL, University College Cork, Ireland. With academic and research experience across South Korea, Ireland, the Middle East, and the U.S., he has a strong publication record, has secured major research funding including from the Research Council of Oman, and holds two U.S. and Korean patents. An active IEEE member, he is committed to mentoring students and advancing computing and information systems globally.
