About Crew

Clarkson University Crew is a dedicated group of students who thoroughly enjoy rowing and the camaraderie of being on a team. Practices are in Norwood, NY Mondays through Fridays, with regattas occurring on weekends.

The students on our team come from different backgrounds and are of all different abilities, ranging from beginners to experienced rowers. We are lucky to have a dedicated head coach, as well as three assistant coaches; without their help, none of our achievements would have been possible. We are proud of what this team has become, and are excited to see what becomes of it moving forward! st our own in-club tournaments to facilitate getting our anglers out on the water.

Clarkson’s competitive nature isn’t just for in the classroom and on the sports field. As a club, we continuously push ourselves to learn better tactics and achieve our competition goals.

Where We Go

We might have some great options in our backyard here on campus, however, some of the competitions we are in allow us to explore more waterways.

Head of the Fish

The NY Bass Nation Youth tournament trail is one of the ways that our club competes to qualify for the Strike King Bassmaster College National Championships. This trail allows for our anglers to compete locally against other schools in the state while still allowing us to make it into national championships. These tournaments occur on lakes such as Owasco, Oneida, Niagara River, Oswego Harbor, and more.

Head of the Charles

With a schedule that takes us all around the North Country and Upstate New York to places like Oneida, Cayuga, Ticonderoga, Henderson, and Massena.
