The Honors Journey

The Honors Journey

Give the Gift of YES

At Clarkson University, the Honors Program is a close-knit community where intellectually curious students are encouraged to explore new ideas, challenge themselves, and turn their potential into meaningful achievement.

The Honors Journey gives students the opportunity to say YES.

Your support opens doors to undergraduate research, educational travel, faculty mentorship, leadership development, and experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. From conducting research before their first semester to presenting at conferences, studying abroad, and completing original capstone projects, Honors students gain the tools and experiences to shape their futures.

Make a Personal Connection

Through The Honors Journey, supporters are matched each year with a current Honors student and receive an annual update sharing the student's experiences, achievements, and growth. It's a meaningful way to see firsthand how generosity creates opportunities and helps students reach their potential.

See the Impact

In 2025, Clarkson Honors students completed 42 summer research presentations, 33 Honors Capstones, and 19 Educational Enhancement Scholarships, while contributing 1,440 hours of service to North Country communities.

Invest in a Student's Future

A four-year commitment of $3,000 annually—or $250 per month—helps provide sustained support for the experiences that distinguish a Clarkson Honors education. If you’re not able to make a four-year commitment, you can still make a difference. Gifts of every size are welcome, whether you give once or set up a recurring contribution at an amount that works for you.

Your gift helps students pursue new opportunities, discover their passions, develop as leaders, and make a difference in their communities.

Give the Gift of YES. Help make the Honors Journey possible.

Honors is "Home"

“Honors gave me everything I needed to succeed — an instant community, the flexibility to pursue two degrees in four years, funding to lead nationally and the chance to give back locally. It made Clarkson feel like home — and gave me the confidence to lead beyond it.” - Irini Konstantinou ’25, Process Engineer at GlobalFoundries

Sheryl and I share a deep passion for supporting students as they pursue their education at Clarkson. Contributing to the Honors Program has been an incredibly meaningful way to turn that passion into action. The Clarkson Honors Program stands out for its rigorous academics, impactful research and transformative student experience. I was truly inspired to see firsthand the dedication, care and personal attention the faculty and staff give each student — ensuring they are seen not as numbers, but as individuals with unique potential. Our world-class faculty helps Honors students sharpen their skills, strengthen their character and define their paths to future success. Clarkson graduates go on to achieve amazing things in the world, and Sheryl and I are grateful to play a small part in helping make that possible. We invite you to join us in supporting the next generation of Clarkson Honors students.
