Boris Jukic Promoted to Full Professor at Clarkson University

Clarkson University President Tony Collins has announced that Boris Jukic has been promoted from associate professor to full professor of operations and information systems in the School of Business. Promotion to professor is considered to be virtually the highest honor that a university can bestow upon its faculty.
Jukic received his Ph.D. in management science and information systems from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. From 1998-2004, he was an assistant professor at the School of Management at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
After receiving promotion to the rank of associate professor at George Mason University, he joined Clarkson University in 2004. He has been the director of the MBA Program since 2009, and in 2011 he was named to the post of associate dean for graduate studies in the School of Business.
Jukic was actively engaged in launching the on-line MBA program in 2009, which was recently named an honor roll program in the of Top Online Education Program rankings by U.S.News & World Report.
Jukic’s research interests are in the areas of public and private network management and pricing, data warehousing and business intelligence, electronic commerce and process modeling and analysis.
He has published dozens of journal articles, written and co-written numerous book chapters, and delivered papers at many professional and academic conferences throughout North America and Europe.
Jukic is on the editorial board for the Decision Support Systems Journal, where he has been serving as an associate editor since 2010. He is a member of Association for Information Systems and the Special Interest Group on Decision Support, Knowledge and Data Management Systems.
