Donaldson Named Manager of Clarkson University Business Center in Saranac Lake
The Entrepreneurship Center at Clarkson University has named Stephanie F. Donaldson of Lake Clear, N.Y., the regional manager for its new Adirondack Business Center in Saranac Lake. The center will open in September.
"I’m excited to get the center finished and begin registering anyone who’s thinking of starting a business or already in business," said Donaldson. "The Entrepreneurship Center at Clarkson has an effective program that meets the needs of a rural community, and we’ll be bringing the director of that program to Saranac Lake for the My Small Business 101 series in October. Because there’s no charge for the classes, it’s a great opportunity for small business owners to gain business training from Clarkson at no cost."
Donaldson earned her master of business administration degree from Clarkson in 1992.
Clarkson University is expanding its successful Entrepreneurship Center to 141 River St. in Saranac Lake, next to the Lake View Deli and opposite Lake Flower.
The new location, called the Adirondack Business Center, has been renovated to include a classroom, conference room, three work stations, and two private offices. A fee for telecommuters and room rentals will help make the center self-sustaining.
Clarkson University launches leaders into the global economy. One in six alumni already leads as a CEO, VP or equivalent senior executive of a company.
