I’m from…Clinton Corners, N.Y.

My major is...Mechanical Engineering.

I transferred to Clarkson because…my goal has always been to attend graduate school and I knew Clarkson would make a great stepping stone to reaching that goal.

Being a student at Clarkson has helped me…continue in the pursuit of reaching my academic goals. I immediately felt welcome here, like it was my second home, so I skipped the messy parts and got right to work!

I was well prepared for Clarkson because…the courses that were offered at DCC have allowed me to make a smooth transition into the challenging workload at Clarkson.

On campus, I’m involved in…the intramural football team. I’m also in the process of joining the National Society of Black Engineers and one of the SPEED teams! I definitely also want to do some undergraduate research once I find a project that I am passionate about.

My favorite thing about Clarkson so far is…definitely the professors. They are really here to help you succeed and always take the time to work with you.

When I graduate, I want to…
attend graduate school and attain a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and hopefully become a college professor!
