Undergraduate students enrolled in 12 to 19 credit hours (inclusive) are designated as full-time students and are charged at the full-time rate. Students exceeding the full-time load of 19 credit hours will be charged at the credit hour rate for each credit hour over 19.

** For Spring 2016 Quarter Term, CRC Students balance due will be discounted through Financial Aid at the pre-merger net price agreement. Current CRC students, and those who took their first course at Union Graduate College (Winter 2016 or prior), will remain on the Union Graduate College tuition schedule through December 2017.

Facilities Usage Fee

Residential Program Graduate students, per-term charge.....................$325
Assessed to each full-time student to cover expenses incurred in operation of the health services and recreational facilities. This  is NOT a premium for health insurance coverage.

Graduate Student Resource Fee 
Per-term charge.........................................................................$75

Assessed to MSEM, MBA Distance, and Capital Region Campus students to cover guest speakers, lecturers, computer lab resources, related software, free transcripts for life, and other like services. CRC students admitted prior to Spring 2016 Quarter, Union College undergraduates, and Leadership in Medicine (LIM) students are grandfathered into pre-merger regulation, and excluded from this fee.

Explaination of Charges

Undergraduate & The Clarkson School Tuition -Undergraduate students enrolled in 12 to 19 credit hours (inclusive) are designated as full-time students and are charged at the full-time tuition rate.  Students exceeding the full-time load of 19 credit hours will be charged at the credit hour rate for each credit hour over 19.

Housing -Based on the average room rate, this may vary depending on your room assignment.

Clarkson Univeristy Student Association (CUSA) Activity Fee -Assessed by CUSA on all undergraduate students carrying a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester and distributed to clubs & organizations.

Clarkson Univeristy Student Association (CUSA) Campus Improvements Fund Fee -Assessed by CUSA on all undergraduate students carrying a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester for capital priorities identified by students.

Health, Wellness, & Recreation Facilities Fee -Assessed to all full-time students.  Covers operations for access to recreational facilities, fitness center and health center services.  (Note: This is not a health insurance premium.)

Residential Program Resource Fee (Potsdam) -Covers operations for access to recreational facilities, fitness center, health center services, computing lab resources and related software, webinars, etc.  (Note: This is not a health insurance premium.)

All Other Program Resource Fee (Beacon, Capital Region, & Online) -Covers operations for access to computing lab and online resources and related software, webinars, etc.  (Note: This is not a health insurance premium.)

The Clarkson School Fee -This assists in covering various student activities such as field trips.  In addition, a portion of the fee provides for any guest lectures and special meals sponsored by The Clarkson School.

Knightcard Fee (Optional) -A prepaid, declining balance account is a convenient, cashless way to make purchases on and off-campus at participating locations.  With no fees, no chance to overdraft, and no chance of accumulating credit card debt, the Knight Card is a great budgeting tool! Student Health Insurance -Health insurance coverage is mandatory for residential program students.  Students must either have their own health insurance coverage, health insurance through their parent/guardian or be enrolled in the Clarkson University offered coverage.
