Many organizations offer scholarships based on a wide range of criteria. While there are many companies who will do a scholarship search for a fee, there are also free scholarship search websites. Beware! There have been reported incidents of scholarship scams.
We recommend you visit www.collegeboard.org and www.students.gov to begin a free scholarship search.

BigSun Scholarship - The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. The Associated General Contractors New York State Scholarship Application is open to any student who lives in the state of New York and studies Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or Diesel Technology. Applications are available on the AGC NYS website beginning March 1 of every year at https://www.agcnys.org/programs/scholarship. The deadline is May 15 of every year. The AGC NYS Scholarship committee has awarded over $969,000 in scholarships since 1988 and we average close to 20 scholarships every year ranging from $2500-$5000 each.
The Women's Press Club of New York State, Inc. Announces Scholarship Award - The Women's Press Club of New York State, Inc. is offering an annual scholarship award for a qualifying student interested in resuming or continuing his or her studies toward a career in communications or a related field. Students must be matriculated no later than the start of the Fall 2013 semester in a field that fosters the development of communication skills. Applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2013. ASCO Numatics, the world’s leading manufacturer of comprehensive fluid automation solutions, flow control and pneumatics will be awarding two merit-based scholarships of $5,000 each to US engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines as well as two $1,000 grants to the engineering departments of the college at which the winners are enrolled. Scholarship recipients may also be eligible for an ASCO Numatics internship.
