Clinical Assistant Professor
Ms. Goshko is a third generation retail pharmacist. Her family owned an independent pharmacy in Lynn, MA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and her Master of Science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut. She completed the American Pharmacists Association Certificate Program in Pharmaceutical Care for Patients with Diabetes. She has been a licensed Connecticut pharmacist since 1984 and was licensed in New York in 2006.
Ms. Goshko started her New York pharmacy career first as a technician, and then an intern, at Kinney Drugs. Locally she has filled prescriptions as a pharmacist at Rite Aid, Walgreens and most recently, Price Chopper.
In addition to her pharmacist positions, she was a research technician in Professor Robert Dowman’s Laboratory at Clarkson University, provided diabetes education services at Canton Potsdam Hospital and worked as the Preventive Health Coordinator for the St. Lawrence County Health Initiative.
She has an interest in Psychiatric pharmacy, dating back to her undergraduate work. She plans to start her Pharm.D. degree within the year.
