John Ratzenberger to Keynote Clarkson University Alumni Reunion

John RatzenbergerActor and entrepreneur John Ratzenberger will speak at Clarkson University as part of its Alumni Reunion Weekend, July 11 to 14.

The public is invited to hear Ratzenberger at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, in the Student Center Forum. Ratzenberger will deliver his thoughts about preventing a national crisis by making Americans aware of the country's manufacturing problems and fostering a turnaround through education, entrepreneurship and job creation.

An accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ratzenberger is an outspoken advocate for American-made products and the companies that keep Americans working.

A master improvisational actor, Ratzenberger gained international fame as the character "Cliff" in the NBC show Cheers and has lent his voice to numerous Disney/Pixar animated films, including the Toy Story franchise, Wall-E, A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Up.

During more than three decades of moviemaking and theatre, Ratzenberger has enjoyed success as a screenwriter, director, producer and multi Emmy-nominated actor. He also produced and hosted the Travel Channel show "Made in America."
