Bloomberg Businessweek Places Clarkson University #20 on Fifty Most Affordable Colleges with Return on Investment List
Bloomberg Businessweek placed Clarkson University as #20 in its list of the "Fifty Most Affordable Colleges with Return on Investment" in its College ROI: What We Found report issued April 7, 2011.
In conjunction with PayScale, Bloomberg revealed which schools prepare students for well-paying careers and the publisher featured Clarkson University prominently in an accompanying article, "College’s Holy Grail: Low Cost, High Returns."

The Most Affordable list recognizes institutions that prioritize scholarship support and financial aid for students by looking at the average net price that a typical student pays to attend.
The overall national ROI rankings are based solely on the published price compared to the earnings of graduates.
Clarkson was featured as #65 on this sticker-price-based list and seventh overall in a breakdown for New York State which is known for the quality of its higher education offerings.
PayScale ranked 693 schools on 30-year ROI for Bloomberg Businessweek, using data it collects from individuals who use the company’s pay comparison tools.
