“This independent analysis of college graduates nationwide demonstrates Clarkson’s long-term commitment to its academic mission and access to education for all students,” said Clarkson University President Tony Collins. “With outstanding support from our alumni and friends, it has been our history to make Clarkson affordable to all entrepreneurially-minded and talented students who qualify for admissions and to give them the opportunity to pursue a rigorous education grounded in bridging research discovery and engineering innovation with enterprise.”
The Most Affordable list recognizes institutions that prioritize scholarship support and financial aid for students by looking at the average net price that a typical student pays to attend.
The overall national ROI rankings are based solely on the published price compared to the earnings of graduates.
Clarkson was featured as #65 on this sticker-price-based list and seventh overall in a breakdown for New York State which is known for the quality of its higher education offerings.
PayScale ranked 693 schools on 30-year ROI for Bloomberg Businessweek, using data it collects from individuals who use the company’s pay comparison tools.
