Clarkson University to Hold Adirondack Business Center Open House Saturday in Saranac Lake
The Adirondack Business Center will host an open house this Saturday, October 30, from 1-4 p.m. at their 141 River Street location in Saranac Lake, N.Y.
Clarkson University President Tony Collins will make opening remarks at 1:15, which will be followed by a ribbon cutting with the Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce.
The community is invited to stop by, tour the building and enjoy hors d’oeuvres anytime between 1 and 4 p.m..
The Business Center is a project of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Clarkson University and the Adirondack Initiative for Wired Work hosted by Clarkson University.
Vacationers, business owners, and community groups can use the Business Center to learn, work, and build stronger businesses in an effort to strengthen the Adirondack Economy.
Facilities for rent include two private offices, a professional conference room, a twenty-four seat classroom, and three computer workstations.
The Center began holding its free My Small Business 101 classes last Tuesday to a full classroom of local entrepreneurs. The next series will be offered in January.
