Clarkson University announced today that Follett Higher Education Group (FHEG) will begin management of the Clarkson University Bookstore.
"Follett is in an ideal position to leverage its experience and market presence to meet the needs of our students and faculty, bringing the best to our bookstore operation," said Clarkson University Chief Financial Officer Nancy Kin. The transition of operation to Follett is scheduled for July 7, 2010.
Follett recently announced the expansion of Rent-A-Text, their latest cost-saving program to help alleviate the costs of course materials. "We are committed to making the Clarkson University Bookstore the premier resource of campus," said Tom Christopher, president of FHEG. "We look forward to working directly with the campus and community to ensure that the University Bookstore is taking full advantage of our innovative and cost-saving programs.
