Robert Ziek Elected Clarkson University Trustee

Clarkson University alumnus Robert R. Ziek Jr., president of ZSOURCE, Limited, Cincinnati, has been elected to Clarkson’s board of trustees. He will serve on the academic affairs & marketing committees.
In addition to serving as president of ZSOURCE, an innovation consulting firm with a focus in consumer goods, he is vice president of innovation for Nehemiah Manufacturing, a consumer company in Cincinnati.
Ziek is also an advisor and partner in Northbay Technology Development LLC, a venture catalyst company in Potsdam, N.Y.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Clarkson in 1978 and a master of business administration degree from Xavier University in 1983.
Prior to founding ZSOURCE, Ziek co-founded Changing Paradigms, a manufacturer and marketer of consumer products, where he served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of operations and R&D.
Earlier in his career, Ziek was director of product development and process development for Drackett Company, a division of Bristol Myers Squibb. He also worked for Procter & Gamble immediately following his graduation from Clarkson.
Ziek serves as chair of the Clarkson’s Coulter School of Engineering dean’s leadership council and has provided financial and volunteer support for the Engineering & Management program and new product development curricula. In 2008, he received the Golden Knight Award, Clarkson’s most prestigious alumni honor.
Ziek is a member of the Purdue Music Organization advisory board and has been chairman of fundraising, planned giving and development, as well as long-range planning, at Temple Sholom.
He resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Marcy.
