On September 11, 2001, more than 3,000 people were killed by terrorist attacks on American soil, including four alumni of Clarkson University.
The program will comprise a welcome from University Provost Tom Young, presentation of the colors by Army and Air Force ROTC cadets, music by the Clarkson Golden Knotes, and remarks by Dan Parker, class of 2007, and Steve Newkofsky, associate vice president for alumni relations.
Parker will speak about his experience as a volunteer firefighter in New York City during the aftermath of the World Trade Center attack. Newkofsky will speak about the alumni whose lives were taken in 2001.
