Harrington of Bernardsville Receives Clarkson University's Top Alumni Honor
Harrington graduated from Clarkson University in 1977, receiving a dual degree in mathematics and industrial distribution.
In 1977, he began working for Accenture where he eventually became managing partner of the North American Communications and High Technology Practice. He was a member of the executive committee and he led the Business and Technology Innovation Agenda. He retired from Accenture in 2005. Currently, he is a part-time venture partner for OmniCapital, a venture fund focusing on high potential IT and network start-ups.
Harrington has always been interested and engaged in pivotal issues that concern Clarkson University. In the past, he has been an active member of the Clarkson Alumni Council, the Business Leadership Council and Business Advisory Council. He has also served on Clarkson's Board of Trustees. Harrington continues to support Clarkson as an admission volunteer.
Harrington and his wife, Janet, live in Bernardsville, N.J., where he is involved with the Children's Aid Society of New York and the Greater Newark Conservancy.
