Three Honorary Degree Recipients to Address Graduates at Clarkson University Commencement May 13
Nearly 700 Clarkson University students will be granted bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees at commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 13. The weekend will also be marked by the commissioning of United States Army and Air Force ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) cadets on Saturday, May 12.
- Santokh S. Badesha, Xerox Fellow at the Xerox Corporation, who has worked throughout his career to create new materials and make components that are the foundation of multiple generations of better, faster Xerox copiers and printers, and who was awarded
- Engineer and construction executive Sandy S. Ginsberg, whose career has set him apart as an engineer, construction executive, and senior project manager, because of his success working on many high-profile and one-of-a-kind projects, including his work
During the commencement ceremony, two faculty members will be honored with the John W. Graham Jr. Faculty Research Award and the Clarkson University Distinguished Teaching Award. A retiring Clarkson faculty member will also be named professor emeritus in recognition and appreciation for his years of service to the University.
The Levinus Clarkson Award and the Frederica Clarkson Award will be bestowed upon two students who have demonstrated unsurpassed scholarship and promise of outstanding academic achievement.
