The North Country will once again celebrate global unity and cultural differences as Clarkson University hosts the 11th Annual World in Potsdam Diversity Festival on Saturday, October 16 beginning at noon. Clarkson University, SUNY Potsdam, and the Village of Potsdam are co-sponsors of the event.

Each year, community members and students, faculty and staff from Clarkson and SUNY Potsdam  come together for the all-day festival that features exotic foods, live musical and dance performances, demonstrations, and hands-on activities celebrating cultures and people around the world.wip2003_african_hats

All festival events will take place in Clarkson University’s Cheel Campus Center and are free and open to the public.

The opening ceremony will kick off at noon. Craft and display tables will be open from noon until 3 p.m. and exotic foods from around the world will be available for tasting from 1-3 p.m.
