Clarkson-st. Lawrence Hockey On North Country Tv Saturday; Time Warner Cable Will Also Broadcast Remaining Clarkson Home Games

Saturday night’s Clarkson-St. Lawrence hockey contest will be broadcast live on television in the North Country. Time-Warner Cable will air the hockey game on channel 44 of its systems in St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Lewis, Franklin and Clinton counties.

The broadcast will be produced by Clarkson University’s student-run cable TV station, WCKN. Time Warner Cable will air all remaining Clarkson University home hockey games this season, except on Feb. 5.  Future games will be subject to a one-hour delay.

Hockey fans with a computer can catch Saturday night’s action on the Internet at http://media.clarkson.edu. (The free RealPlayer plug-in, available at Clarkson’s Web site, is needed to view or listen to the game.)

Saturday evening’s showdown gets underway with a pre-game show at 6:45 p.m. At 6:55, Kierre Daniels and Wayne Braun will provide the play-by-play as the Golden Knights and Skating Saints renew one of college hockey’s most intense rivalries, live from Clarkson’s Cheel Arena.

Entering its fourth decade of broadcasting Clarkson Hockey, WCKN can be found on channel 30 of the Potsdam-Canton-Gouverneur Time Warner Cable system.
