Petersen Elected To Clarkson University Board Of Trustees

W. Hollis Petersen of Bronxville, N.Y, was elected this weekend to the Clarkson University Board of Trustees. Petersen is a private investor participating in various financial markets.
Previously he was vice president in charge of international liability management at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York City. In that position he was responsible for global funding coordination of the bank’s overseas branches. He also has traded various fixed income instruments including U.S. Treasuries, Certificates of Deposit, and Futures.
Petersen earned his bachelor of arts degree at Columbia College in 1968 with a major in history and subsequently earned his master of business administration degree at the Columbia Graduate School of Business in 1973 with a major in finance. He served in the U.S. Navy in Taipei, Taiwan.
He is active in various charitable activities in Westchester County and recently served as a board member of Family and Community Service in Eastchester, N.Y. He has served as treasurer and Vestry member of Christ Church in Bronxville, N.Y. and also has served as treasurer of Shenorock Shore Club in Rye, N.Y.
Petersen has been both a Clarkson Roundtable Member and a member of the Clarkson University School of Business Advisory Council for many years.
He and his wife Ann live in Bronxville.
