Something For Everyone At Clarkson Reunion

What do Clarkson's Solar Car, headache prevention, and magic shows have in common? They're all topics that will be presented in one-hour seminars during Clarkson University's 103rd Alumni Reunion this weekend in Potsdam. Clarkson alumni from around the world are in town this weekend to visit the alma mater and celebrate their college days.

Among the many events slated, a number of interesting seminars top the list. Clarkson students will be on hand Friday from 3-4 p.m. and Saturday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Cheel Campus Center to show off the solar car that they raced in Sunrayce '99 from Washington, D.C., to Orlando.

Dr. Leslie Russek of Clarkson's Physical Therapy Department will conduct a presentation Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Cheel Campus Center on "Headaches: Causes and Prevention."

And Chemistry Professor Jim Peploski will present his "Chemistry Magic Show" on Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Science Center Room 160.

These and many other seminars will be presented on Friday and Saturday, and are open to the public. For a complete listing and the Reunion '99 schedule, please contact the Alumni Office at 315-268 6467.
