Clarkson University's Internet Consulting Group Provides Computer Workshops For North Country Community
The Internet Consulting Group at Clarkson University will soon offer workshops on Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and FrontPage which will be open to teachers, students, professionals, and anyone else interested in learning more about these applications.
The workshops will be offered as needed and will last for three hours each. The fee for attending is $35 for one workshop and $100 for three. All workshops will be held at Clarkson University in Snell Hall Room 216. The workshops are designed for beginners and no prior experience is necessary.
The calendar for the initial workshops is as follows: November 7, 9 a.m.- noon, Microsoft Word; November 14, 9 a.m.- noon, Microsoft Excel; November 21, 9 a.m.- noon, Microsoft PowerPoint; and December 5, 9 a.m.- noon, Microsoft Access.
The FrontPage '98 workshop will be offered over three days on November 12 and 19, and December 3, 6:30-9:30 p.m. You must attend each consecutive session. The fee for attending the FrontPage '98 workshop is $100 for all three sessions.

The Internet Consulting Group (ICG) is a student-run organization located within the School of Business at Clarkson University. The goal of ICG is to educate the North Country community on commonly used computer applications and the Internet. The organization comprises graduate and undergraduate students, advised by Professor Ronald Chorba.
