POTSDAM, N.Y. -- What do Clarkson's Solar Car, the Iditarod, acne and oil paintings have in common? They're all topics which will be presented in one-hour seminars during Clarkson University's 102nd Alumni Reunion, July 9-12 in Potsdam.
Clarkson students will be on hand to show off the solar car which they will race next June in Sunrayce '99 from Washington, D.C., to Orlando. Spencer Thew, a '63 Clarkson grad, will have his sled dogs on hand and will talk about competing in the Iditarod in Alaska. Professor Yuzhuo Li of the Chemistry Department will discuss the latest in acne treatment, and Mitch Billis '58 will bring some of his large oil paintings from galleries in Maine and tell you how he went from mechanical engineer to full-time artist.
