Clarkson Trustee Gregory C. Farrington Named Lehigh University President
Clarkson University Trustee Gregory C. Farrington has been named president of Lehigh University. Farrington graduated from Clarkson in 1968.
Clarkson University President Denny Brown applauded the choice of Farrington to lead Lehigh saying, "Greg is an excellent choice. He is a true scholar with an understanding of the issues facing higher education today. His experience as Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Clarkson University position him well to lead Lehigh into the next century. We are proud of his accomplishments and wish him well in his new role."
Brown added that this appointment makes Farrington the most prominent Clarkson alumnus in the field of higher education
