United Sales Concepts President Frank Rotunno Awarded Clarkson University Honorary Degree

Potsdam, N.Y. –Frank M. Rotunno, president and founder of United Sales Concepts, today (May 17) received an honorary doctor of science degree at Clarkson University's 105th Commencement in Potsdam, New York.
Frank M. Rotunno is president and founder of United Sales Concepts, a manufacturers' representative firm which represents such major corporations as Encore Paper, Tennaco Packaging, S.C. Johnson & Son, Sherri Cup, Jet-Plastica Industries, Amhil Enterprises, and Adams Business Forms. An active member and former president of the Clarkson University Alumni Association, Rotunno has also served the University as a trustee since 1988 and is credited with playing a key role in raising $13 million from alumni and friends to construct the Cheel Campus Center.
After graduating from Clarkson in 1956 with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Rotunno began a very successful marketing career with Marathon Corporation, Potlatch Forest, and eventually Constellation-Hygeia, a division of American Seal Kap Corporation, where he served as National Sales manager and Marketing vice president.
In 1970, Rotunno established United Sales Concepts. Today, as president of the sales organization for manufacturers of food service disposables, he oversees the largest company of its kind in the northeast, with more than $100 million in annual sales.
Rotunno served on the board of directors of the New York-New Jersey Salesmen's Association and is a former board member of the Rosenow Paper Company. Other professional affiliations include founding membership in the Manufacturers' Representatives of America and membership in the National Council of Salesmen's Organization, as well as past vice presidency of the NY/NJ Salesman Association. Rotunno has received numerous awards for outstanding sales performance.
As a trustee, he has chaired the Development Committee and has been actively involved in planning the new comprehensive fund-raising campaign. He has served on many Board committees, including the Enrollment Committee, the Investment Committee, the Trusteeship Committee, the Campus Life Committee, and the Executive Committee, and he has been a key planner and promoter of the new Fitness Center.
Clarkson University is an independent institution located in northern New York, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The University has 2,745 graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in its schools of Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts and Science.
