Orientation

All new international students will engage in an international orientation session. This session is to assist you in understanding the immigration guidelines to which you must adhere to. Following are important times and reminders specific to International Students - you should consult your program orientation for other events and activities.

Summer/Fall 2014 Arrival & Orientation - please be sure to consult the 'arrive by' date on your Clarkson issued Certification of Eligibility or I-20/DS-2019

All students arriving for the summer session must arrive by the start of their session - you will partiicpate in orientation activies when all students arrive for the fall term.

All students arriving for the fall term will be required to arrive by the date noted on their I-20/DS-2019 - ALL exceptions must be authorized by the International Students & Scholars Office. 

It is important to plan for visa processing well in advance to ensure you are able to arrive in time to particapate in all orientation related activities. These activities are designed to ensure success during your time at Clarkson University.

International Student Orientation 2013 

Graduate Students - all new graduate students are expected to arrive by August 18, 2014. Please consult your specific graduate program for detailed arrival information.

NOTE - Classes for MBA students will begin on Monday, August 18, 2014. All new international students to the MBA program should plan to arrive by Friday, August 15, 2014.

Undergraduate Students - all new undergraduate students are expected to arrive by Wednesday, August 20, 2014. 

Exchange Students - all new gradaute students should arrive by the date for the program and all new undergraduate students will arrive by Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

Lending Cupboard Schedule - TBD

 What is the Lending Cupboard? The Lending Cupboard is a special interest group dedicated to helping international students, scholars and their families. The Lending Cupboard is a place where you can borrow items you may need to complete your dorm room or apartment. These items are loaned to you at no cost and when you are done you simply return them to the Cupboard. There are a wide range of items - from furniture to clothing and everything in between. Please note - this facility is run by members of The Clarkson Club.
