- Items containing any liquid or solid residue
- Heat-resistant ovenware
- Window and plate glass
- Light bulbs
- Mirrors
- Ceramic dishes, clay pots, etc.
- Broken glass
- Foam cups, trays, packing peanuts
- Hard, brittle plastic (like blister packs)
- Empty or dry paint cans
- Empty automotive oil containers
- Plastic-coated or plastic-lined paper (e.g. milk cartons, pet food bags, etc.)
- Wax paper or wax-coated paper, including milk cartons, bakery boxes, frozen food boxes, drink boxes, etc.
- Carbon paper
- Foil-faced paper
- Binders
- Barry Manilow CDs
- (Note: all batteries are now recyclable.)
