The Clarkson Fund
The Clarkson Fund provides opportunities for our alumni, parents and friends to support the University at every level. Your gift, no matter the size, will ensure that Clarkson is able to maintain the high-quality education that our students deserve.
Unrestricted gifts help fund a number of important initiatives across campus such as:
Technology - The annual cost of maintaining technology across campus is $843,000.
Laboratory Supplies and Equipment - Each year Clarkson spends $83,000 on instructional laboratory supplies and scientific equipment.
Library Acquisitions - Annually Clarkson spends $978,000 to purchase new journals and software used daily by students and faculty.
Financial Aid and Student Scholarship are still important - With your gift, you can make a difference in the life of a Clarkson Student or make the dream of a Clarkson education a reality for a deserving individual.
Athletics - Unrestricted gifts take on great significance as they work to support and increase the competitiveness of Clarkson's Division I & Division III athletic teams, co-curricular sports, and intramural opportunities for all students.
Without the support of our alumni, parents and friends, we would not be able to excel in a highly competitive market and fast-changing technological world.
Clarkson's programs prepare well-educated students for a career or graduate education, who will continue a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and contribute to society through education, research, health, technological development, industry and commerce.
Last year, more than 6,200 alumni and friends made an unrestricted gift to the Clarkson Fund and helped us reach a record high of $2 million for the Clarkson Fund (fiscal year ending June 30, 2007). Our goal for the 2007-2008 year is to break that record and raise $ 2.2 million for the Clarkson Fund.
We are confident that, with your help, we can reach our goal to raise $2.2 million for the Clarkson Fund! Remember that every gift counts - no gift is too small!
