Summer Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

The Reh Center for Entrepreneurship offers a three credit hour, 7 night/8 day academic summer camp for 15-18 year olds. The program provides a fun and fast paced environment where students will work through ideation, evaluation, and business development.  The week will culminate with a final presentation to a board of investors who will award $1000 to each of the top three teams to be used as seed capital in starting their businesses. 

Dates: Summer 2015 

Objectives:
The program is designed to provide an introduction to entrepreneurial concepts and encourage students to take the leap from idea to market. Students will:

  • Identify and capture an innovative or entrepreneurial idea
  • Understand how to legally form a business in NYS
  • Develop a business plan
  • Identify and access a support network
  • Identify partners and mentors
  • Pitch their idea
  • Compete for seed capital for their new venture
  • Earn college credit

Cost: $4,450, scholarships are available
