Environmental Health Science (EHS)
Environmental health science studies the relationship between humans and the environment - mainly the environmental factors that adversely affect human health. Our program focuses on recognizing, evaluating, and controlling these chemical, biological and physical factors. Environment must be thought of in the broadest sense, as to include the natural, built, and social environments.
What environmental health hazards are we exposed to in our workspaces and communities? How do we eliminate these hazards or minimize their effects to stay safe in the future?
These are the kinds of questions you'll ask, then answer, as a student in the Environmental Health Science program at Clarkson.
