Compliance - Animal Subjects
The Division of Research is Clarkson University's administrative unit on campus to administer the Policy on conducting animal research.
If you have questions about conducting animal research, please contact Greg Slack, Director of Research and Technology Transfer at gslack@clarkson.edu.
To conduct animal subjects research in which Clarkson University is a participant, follow these steps:
- Read the Clarkson University Policy on Research with Animal Subjects (.doc 30 KB)

When familiar with Clarkson's policy, Take the Laboratory Animal WelfareTraining Course. You must successfully complete this training to conduct animal research at Clarkson. Once you have completed the course notify the IACUC Coordinator, Adele Puglise at apugliese@clarkson.edu.

After you have read Clarkson's policy and completed the training above, prepare and submit the IACUC protocol application one week prior to scheduled meeting date to the IACUC Coordinator, Adele Pugliese at apugliese@clarkson.edu.
