Being a Digital Arts and Sciences major here at Clarkson University is without a doubt the most fun I’ve ever had in a learning environment. It’s a curriculum designed for students with big ideas, an artistic eye, and personal visions. Currently I am producing concept art for my portfolio, designing 3D character models and environments, programming a chess game in Java, leading the animation portion of a flash video game design team, and writing a work of fiction through my creative writing class. I first stumbled upon Clarkson's Digital Arts and Sciences program through a scholarship opportunity called the Aliens Ate my Brain video contest. I had to make a short animation about the title of the contest. I wound up liking it so much that I visited the college and found that, being passionate about video games and 3D modeling, Clarkson was the college for me. Read More...
