About Club 99 and Bar9
Club 99 is the social center on Clarkson's campus. Club 99 is host to events such as foosball, and pool tournaments as well as open mic, and many others. Clarkson's campus had been missing such a social center until the graduating class of 1999 converted the TV room and outdated computer lab into what you see today with their class gift.
The last pub on Clarkson's campus was located in Woodstock Lodge and featured an "English Pub" atmosphere. The lodge was divided into a game-room with one billiard and three pool tables, and a lounge with comfortable furniture.
During the Fall of 2010 Clarkson opened a second pub on campus in the new Student Center called Bar9. The new building features a state of the art cafe/bar/game room that serves coffee during the day and alcoholic beverages at night to students of legal drinking age. Club 99 also remains open as well, so the Clarkson community now has two Pubs on campus to utilize.
Club 99 and Bar9 are about having a fun way to relax and get involved on campus outside of classes.
