Civil & Environmental Engineering - Undergraduate Programs
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers B.S. degrees in both programs, and numerous minors and professional concentrations designed to maximize the potential of our students.
There are currently over 400 undergraduate students in our program. Our students are able to choose their focus and pursue what interests them and they have the support and leadership of outstanding faculty throughout the process.
As a CEE major, you’ll be grounded in the fundamentals you’ll need for a successful career in one of the civil and environmental engineering disciplines. You’ll also benefit from a rich learning environment that extends well beyond the classroom. Each year of undergraduate study includes classes with laboratory components and hands-on design experiences. You’ll find learning through these venues can be applied to "real life" in fun and meaningful ways. Students notice this link particularly as they participate in design competitions or interact with visiting industry professionals who share their experiences and knowledge with them.
Finally, you'll be encouraged to take advantage of opportunities for faculty-guided research projects in the lab and in the field.
