Corporate Partnerships
A Clarkson education provides an academic experience rich with teamwork, problem-solving opportunities and the development of effective communication skills. Sound good? Then, we’d like to talk with you.
We invite our employer partners – and potential partners – to take advantage of our resources. We will help match your needs and our students’ skills and work ethic.
Because of Clarkson’s interdisciplinary approach in teaching, research and coursework, “Our graduates are ready, from day one, to jump into a position and demonstrate to an employer their ability to be productive,” says Clarkson President Tony Collins.
We invite you to become a partner in our co-op program. Our students have a strong work ethic and are immersed in a strong, technologically rich curriculum. You can provide a meaningful work experience for promising young professionals – and fill your business needs at the same time.
Co-op students typically work either from January to August, or May through December, but the timeframe is very flexible. All students are U.S. citizens or permanent residents pursuing a degree in one of our accredited programs in engineering, business, arts and sciences or interdisciplinary programs (such as engineering and management).
Students do not receive academic credit while on co-op, but instead are paid a wage of $10-$20 per hour by the employer. All Co-op students are in good academic standing with the University. Companies are welcome to recruit students year-round.
To participate as a co-op partner, post a co-op job or review Clarkson student resumes, contact Linda Hastings (linda.hasting@clarkson.edu or (315) 268-6477.
