I’m from Averill Park, New York.
I chose Clarkson because it had the hands-on, down-to-earth style I needed to succeed. In a way, the University chose me. Clarkson believed in me from the start and even gave me a scholarship.
I like to get outside! I split my time between mountain biking and hiking in the fall and backcountry skiing in the winter. Clarkson has clubs for both and lots of people share my enthusiasm for getting into the Adirondack Mountains.
I had a unique experience interning in Europe. I worked on modeling fluid dynamics in Brussels. When I wasn’t doing that, I walked the canals of Holland and vineyards of France, drove as fast as I could on the Autobahn, watched the sunrise from where the Berlin Wall once stood, sailed the North Sea and made lifelong friends across six countries.
