The Interfraternity Council (IFC) provides outlets for social interaction among the fraternity and sorority members. Events include Ice Carnival, IFC-sponsored intramurals, and other social opportunities. IFC also helps to sponsor educational opportunities for all of its members and to help to promote the fraternal ideals of leadership, scholarship, service, community and brotherhood. Check out the North American Interfraternity Conference Web site for more information about fraternities.

The Panhellenic Council provides many opportunities for involvement in campus life and the fraternity and sorority system outside of the individual sororities. Recruitment, social and educational opportunities are provided by the council.
