CAMP’s Dr. Dana Barry Receives APEX Award and Co-Authors Book in Japan Dr. Dana M. Barry, technical writer and editor at Clarkson University’s Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP), received an APEX 2005 Award for Publication Excellence from Communications Concepts Inc. in Springfield, Va. This is the 10th consecutive time that she has won this award, which is based on editorial content and overall communications effectiveness and excellence. Her winning entry, the “CAMP Annual Report Newsletter 2003-2004,” faired extremely well in the exceptionally intense competition. There were over 5,000 entries in the competition and approximately 1,500 awards were distributed in 109 subcategories of 11 major areas.
Dr. Dana Barry displays the new book she co-authored In addition, Dr. Barry (who also serves as President of the Scientific Board for Ansted University) co-authored a science book with Professor Hideyuki Kanematsu of Suzuka National College of Technology in Japan. The new book titled Science Fair Fun in Japan was published by Gendai Tosho and released in Japan on May 31, 2005.
