I decided to pursue Clarkson's one-year MBA program in order to further my understanding of business and make myself more marketable to potential employers. I chose Clarkson due to the small class size, the high job placement record, and the consistent use of case studies in all classes. In addition to gaining a solid business acumen, I improved my ability to work in teams with people from diverse backgrounds.
I think the best aspect of the Clarkson MBA program is the small, tight-knit community in which we learn and work together. It enables the students to form lifelong relationships with the faculty and fellow students.
After completing the one-year MBA program in May 2008, paired with my undergraduate degree in Spanish from St. Lawrence University, I was hired as a consultant for IBM.
