High School Students
if you are a high school student interested in ROTC along with talking to an Enrollment Officer you should follow these steps
- Visit www.armyrotc.com to get an overview of Army ROTC to understand requirements and benefits
- Talk to friends, family, and counselors for other perspectives
- Start looking at schools that are a good academic fit, and have Army ROTC available
- Narrow your list of schools and visit the campuses. Stop in to meet with the ROTC Battalion if possible
- If you are interested in a scholarship, start the application at the end of your junior year, or early in your senior year
Remember, a scholarship is not required to participate. If you aren't sure if Army ROTC is for you, there is no better way to find out than to take the clsss freshman year.
