Many companies encourage philanthropy by matching employee, spouse and even retiree gifts to charity.
Each matching gift program is unique. Most programs match gifts at least one-to-one. Some set a minimum and/or maximum match each year. Oftentimes the match may go to The Clarkson Fund, to an endowment or to a specific department. And while no income tax charitable deduction is allowed, Clarkson gives you gift credit where permitted for the match.
The matching process differs from company to company. Some require a paper form while others may have an online system. You may be able to access the process through the search engine above. If your company provides a matching form, complete it and mail, email, or fax it to:
