EXHIBIT TO SHARE HISTORY OF ORIGINAL WALKER CENTER 
We are creating an exhibit to share an historic part of the original Walker Center experience with generations of students and the Potsdam Community. We are seeking old hockey equipment and uniforms in stable condition, articles of clothing with the Clarkson logo or name, ice hockey game programs, line charts, scouting notes, noise makers, band instruments, photos, posters, flags and other 3-D artifacts representative of the fifty year period (1939 to 1989) when it served as home to Clarkson’s ice hockey team and fans. Representatives from 150 companies visited the Clarkson University campus to recruit students on September 18 at the annual fall Career Fair. The event was the University's largest fair ever and had eight additional companies on the waiting list. Read more...

CALLING ALL BROTHERS! THE MU OMICRON CHAPTER OF ALPHA PHI OMEGA TURNS 50!
Please come and help us celebrate on Saturday, October 11, 2008. We will be having a get together for all those who arrive early on Friday. Registration will be a continental breakfast starting at 9am on Saturday followed by a meeting, rededication, and of course a service project. To end the evening there will be dinner and dancing, standard sectional attire please. There will be a farewell breakfast on Sunday. Cost to attend is $40 per person. Please contact Alicia Anderson, chapter president, at andersal@clarkson.edu for more information and to register. Registration ends September 30, 2008.

CLARKSON UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR CO-AUTHORS DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY SOLAR STUDY
Ortmeyer, a professor in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, co-wrote two out of the 15 papers published in the study. The sections that Ortmeyer's group focused on were titled "Advanced Grid Planning and Operations" and "Utility Models, Analysis, and Simulation Tools." Read more...

Behind goals from a pair of freshmen and two tallies from seniors, the head coaching debut of the husband-and-wife team of Shannon and Matt Desrosiers was a success as the Clarkson University Women's Hockey team defeated the Ottawa Senators Women's Hockey Intermediate AA Club 4-2 in an exhibition contest at Cheel Arena Saturday night.
