Faculty Perspectives
"Over 25 years ago, I sent my first transfer student to Clarkson after having met the dean of business at an AMA meeting. Two years later, I was totally impressed to see how powerful this student became and to appreciate the depth of instruction that he received at Clarkson. Since then, over 150 Westchester Community College students have transferred to this transformational School of Business. They have received the most interesting job offers with the top businesses in the US and around the world, they have moved up the corporate ladder more quickly than any other of my transfer students. Clarkson is truly a top business school with modern programs, incredible faculty and great student services. It is my favorite place to send my students who are transferring!"

"Each year when I ask our Engineering Club what university they would like to visit, they always pick Clarkson. This is because Clarkson University makes prospective transfer students feel very welcome. The intimate meetings with Clarkson faculty and the greeting from the Clarkson president clearly show that Clarkson welcomes transfer students. The admissions staff at Clarkson provides exceptional service in providing meals, lodging, appointments with faculty and hockey tickets. The most valuable portion of the trip is having the opportunity to meet informally with former Monroe Community College students currently attending Clarkson. The overwhelming consensus from our transfer students is that they made an excellent choice in attending Clarkson. Practically every MCC student who has graduated from Clarkson has already accepted a job offer prior to graduation."

"Clarkson is a superb institution to visit with engineering transfer students. Their student host program allows informal interaction between our prospective transfer students and their students and provides a candid look at campus life. The campus tours use experienced, knowledgeable student guides. Department faculty who actually do the transfer evaluations answer questions about actual transfer credit. The campus looks better and better all the time, with impressive, well-equipped laboratories. Overall, Clarkson is a fabulous host to transfer visits."
