Hazardous Waste Site Operation and Emergency Response Course (OSHA – HAZWOPER)
Provides hazardous waste site workers with the knowledge and skills required to understand basic site safety and health. The course satisfies the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120 for Hazardous Waste Site Operations.
Research Experiences for Undergraduates
This summer program engages a diversified pool of undergraduate students in first-class research projects in Environmental Sciences and Engineering.
SENSE IT Program
Student Enabled Network of Sensors for the Environment using Innovative Technology. The program is sponsored by the National Science Foundation as well as various other organizations. SENSE IT participating students are challenged to design, build, deploy and interpret data from their own environmental sensors.
